Now, I am writing about Sunday and today I woke up extremely happy. This is because I actually found an organisation in Singapore that is dedicated to wildlife rescue. All thanks to Gwen as she found out about it at Tamps Mall and knowng I was interested in wildlife, told me about it.
So, there was a roadshow at tampines and I knew I could never miss it. Located at level 4 at tampines mall but today was the last day. Anyways, the shop was incredibly tiny but still managed to sell a wide enough range of products as well as people to ask for donations and also educating people on the wildlife and their plight. So finally, after 2o minutes I got two T-shirts and a badge. Also donated 5 bucks. Asked them about volunteer work to help the animals but gave too little information for my liking. Still contemplating on volunteer work or becoming a member. Will call them tomorrow to ask more.
I swear, I was completely taken aback by the wildlife trade in Singapore. I knew there was wildlife trade but I just didn't know it was that much. To see those appalling numbers, see the website, its too much to say it on my blog.
After donating and buying, had lunch at Pasta Mania with Gwen, I headed off to Tiong Bahru to meet up with my parents to buy some school stuff and groceries. Then had dinner and returned home. Yes, the ending is rather uneventful. Haha.....
Bought a new perfume at the Body Shop and it smells wonderful! Perfect for all natural!
